Pocket Nappies
bubbaLU nappies are made with a soft, breathable, yet waterproof fabric (PUL) as the outer layer and super soft and cuddly microfleece on the inside against bub's skin.
These layers create a 'pocket' which holds a removable absorbent insert. This allows for easy washing and quick drying, plus the ability to add more/less absorbency when required.
PUL comes in a variety of funky colours, from brights to pastels. This is a strong durable fabric which can withstand many many washes.
Microfleece is a 'stay dry' layer, in that it wicks moisture away from the skin and directly into the absorbent layers.
This keeps bub dry, preventing nappy rashes.
The fleece also comes in a variety of colours, to match and coordinate the outer fabric colour.

All bubbaLU inserts are made up of two layers:
Microfibre: This is a thirsty fabric which soaks up up to 7 times it's weight in liquid. It draws the moisture away very quickly, is lightweight and dries very quickly after washing.
Plus
Hemp: Another super absorbent fabric, hemp is natural and has antibacterial and antifungal properties - perfect for nappies! While microfibre sucks up moisture quickly, the hemp locks it into the insert and doesn't squish out!
OR
Bamboo: This is a little bit more absorbent than hemp, is also naturally antibacterial and holds onto moisture very well.
The inserts are trim and lightweight, they fold out for quick drying and withstand many many washes.
